Personal Characteristics: Self-motivated, energetic, organized, results-oriented individual with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and profit. Comfortable in dealing with potential customers of varying sophistication. Reliable, tolerant, empathetic team player with a client-focused mentality.
Specific Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook/Exchange, web hosting and other web-based services offered by Intermedia preferred but not required. Some technical background a plus.
Business and Selling Skills: Ability to sell and motivate is the key requirement of this position. Must be an excellent telephone communicator. Able to communicate articulately via written media, including letters, emails and Instant Messages. Able to demonstrate success and experience managing clients with varying technical and business sophistication. Ideal sales background would include financial services, mortgages, web-based services, software or intangible sales, account and/or reseller management. Strong analytical skills a plus.
Management Ability: Though internal staff management is not initially part of the job, responsibility and opportunity could grow with the development of the business. Some people-management skills, experience and natural ability will be useful.
Compensation: Base plus generous performance-based bonus (total package in 100-125k range), Health Insurance, 401K and Fitness Membership included!
